From research to running code

Papers argue. Products have to work on a Tuesday, for someone who only ever sees the product. Five things I have built or help run, each with a link to the real thing.

LinkScape

Co-founder & CFO · January 2026 to present · nonprofit, fiscally sponsored by Hack Club A student-run nonprofit that turns technical ideas into tools and programmes other students can use. I look after the money.

Financial planning, sponsorships and operations, which in practice means budgets, compute costs, and making sure the money is there before the build starts.

Flagship — Resonaite

A headset reads eight EEG bands once a second and the audio engine re-mixes the track in response, so the music changes while you are still hearing it. Seven stages of filtering keep it sounding like music instead of a test tone: modulate audio the obvious way and what comes out is a hearing test. I am project manager and full-stack developer.

Associate Secretary · Asian Community Center U30 · New York Data models and efficient workflows for New York-based community services, built between Shanghai and New York.

The Asian Community Center's under-30 arm supports youth programming funded by the NYC Council and the U.S. Congress. I build the data models behind its community services and the workflows that keep them running, and coordinate the work from Shanghai with the team in New York.

VitaTex

Team lead · Diamond Challenge Global Finalist · April 2026 A smart garment that senses on the fabric and decides on the device, so it interrupts you only when a reading has actually changed.

Designed around the thing wearables usually get wrong: the burden of wearing one. It senses on the garment and runs inference on the device. I directed strategy, market research and financial modelling, and delivered the pitch at the University of Delaware finals.

PoliScope

Built over a weekend at HackHarvard 2025 Joins a bill's text, its sponsors, the lobbying filed against it and the campaign money behind every vote, from four public records.

Connecting those four public records by hand takes an afternoon per bill. PoliScope does the joining: a LangChain and LangGraph retrieval system reads Congress.gov, GovInfo and FEC filings together, traces how a bill's language changed between drafts, and reports who was pushing at each revision. It runs on Google Cloud Run.
